Diana Askew, owner and principal of When Pigs Fly LLC, is a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with over three decades of experience embracing the many disciplines of the land surveying profession. Her area of expertise involves metes and bounds and subdivided property surveys; section breakdown; mineral survey retracements; and subdivision platting of residential, rural and mountain properties within Colorado.

Educational Background

Diana graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology (BSIT) in 2007. In 1981 she graduated with an Associate of Science degree in Cartography. Currently, she is enrolled in the Certified Federal Surveyors (CFedS) Training Program.

Accomplishments

Diana is the elected Jefferson County Surveyor in Colorado through 2014. She is the Executive Director and the elected (volunteer) Secretary - Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado, Inc (PLSC). She is also an adjunct professor in the four-year surveying degree program at the Metropolitan State College of Denver (MSCD); instructing the 300 level courses for Photogrammetry and Real Property Descriptions.
